Pet Insurance

SIIAP Member Firms recognise that due to the nature of your profession you may be posted overseas and wish to take your pet with you or purchase a pet when you are overseas.

Most UK pet insurance policies only provide cover whilst you are in the UK, whereas these policies provide cover in the UK and whilst you are serving in mainland Europe (including Cyprus).

High street providers do not generally have an understanding or the experience to know where to look for solutions, common problems are:

• Lack of continuity when taking pet abroad (UK only cover)
• Understanding legal obligations of pet owners in foreign countries.
